Heating panels emit an infrared wave. The heat spreads evenly throughout the room, reaches objects and walls, dries them and heats them. Importantly, it is only from them that the air in the room is reheated. The perceived temperature in the room is 2-3 degrees higher than the actual temperature. As a result, our thermal comfort remains unchanged, and the costs are much lower, especially since the panels only use electricity for 5-6 hours to maintain it around the clock. The photo below shows an image of our production device in a thermal imaging camera. You can see an even temperature distribution on the surface, it warms up evenly and the entire surface radiates infrared heat. The surface temperature is in the ideal range of 90-100 degrees C. To speak of infrared, the surface temperature must be at least about 65-75 degrees C. Only from this limit the wave heat ratio changes favorably in relation to participate in convection.
However, only around 90-100 degrees C we talk about a very high share of wave heat in relation to convection (at the level of 85-90%). On the other hand, in order to meet safety standards, the temperature should not be higher than approx. 110 degrees Celsius for panels installed within the touch range.
The effect of an even temperature distribution is achieved by using a high-quality heat conductor, an insulating layer inside the device and an aluminum directional screen enhancing efficiency.
